Waiting for the rain to turn to snow overnight, on the eve of a weekend set aside for writing. Tonight, as the world freezes over, I crave deep sleep, restoring wells of creativity drained in recent days. In the morning, I will be ready. Watching the snow fall, insulated from the real world, with space to imagine new ones.

How absolutely beautiful. The way your images were juxtaposed to the lyrical quality of your poetry almost seemed more like music.
Reading it gave me chills. I easily and quickly related to each stanza and appreciated the time you put into capturing the essence of hibernation’s simplicity and complexity.
The quality of your craft is a testament to your thoughtfulness.
I loved it… Thank you so much for sharing.

I love the image of ‘wells’ of creativity and a testament to the rejuvenation that comes with sleep. Hope you can snuggle in! 🙂
